ANY character from any part of the "Marvelverse" is up for grabs. The only prerequisite is that said character not be taken. If the character you want to play as already has a profile, then you'll just have to pick another. Sorry, but it's basically a first-come, first-serve deal. Original characters, on the other hand, have virtually no restrictions as long as they aren't complete copies of existing characters or tie-ins to an established character (example: Otto's sister's mother's brother's uncle's roommate thrice removed). There is practically no limit to what your character can be / do, as long as it's within reason. Yes, even godhood is attainable - to a certain extent.

I'll take this time to point out that ours is an AIM-based RPG, so having AOL or AIM is a must. You don't need a subscription to AOL to have an AIM account - just register on their website and use AIM QuickBuddy if you don't like AOL. If you can't put forth the effort to do that, you don't really want to join that badly.
